Something personal

So I much desire to rant about how incredibly fucked up the decisions coming out of the Obama administration are (the financial decisions, like capping executive pays then turning around and saying they are only going to do it for "extreme circumstances," or even doing this stimulus package in the first place, or Geitner saying we need another $2.5trillion dumped into the banks, even though we've paid off 90% of the mortgages in the country already) but I'm going to talk about something coming through my mind right now...
What's with guys?
Seriously. Now, I know I've been totally flakey on some people that I wasn't interested in, but what's with these guys that approach ME, ask me for MY NUMBER, and then turn around and get all flakey with hanging out or meeting for dinner or something? You ask for MY number out at the bar, and then totally don't even bother. Ugh, what's with men?
That's about it, I'm just slightly annoyed at this moment. =)

Sorry for note posting

But it's just been the SAME old news every week. More layoffs, more deficits, more government spending, and more people saying it's going to get better in a couple of months.

I Want to Squash this Rumor Right Now

So there's been long talk, hype and rumors of the great content of the following item, but I'm here to tell you now: It's just a myth. Now, I've actually gotten into arguments with people about this who just wouldn't believe what science has to say on the matter. Well, I'm going to talk about it right here for all of you today:
Semen does not have a high content of protein. There's about 6mg of protein per ejaculation, and if you need, say 50g of protein / day, do you wanna know how many guys you'd have to suck off to get your daily alloted protein? 8,333.3. DAILY. And it's very low in calories. 5-10 per tablespoon. I understand the jokes, but when I tell you you're wrong about it, you really are. =)

Spiralling Economy

Our economy in the US continues to spiral downward. The projections are that there will be joblosses of 1million per month in the coming months... Foreclosures are (currently) at 10%, and only going to get worse. Obama plans to spend more money. We don't have it.
We simply do not have the money. Where is it going to come from? Our country doesn't produce CRAP. We just hit a $1trillion deficit THIS YEAR ALONE. They projected it would be $130billion. They're now projecting 2009's deficit to be $1.3 trillion, if you take into account just how far off their estimates for 2008 were, it's highly unlikely that it will be that LOW a number... Read Arun Gupta's reasoning as to why Obama's stimulus package won't work here.
PLEASE read this people, it all has to do with what I'm going to talk about AND how I think we need to start to work in fixing our problems.
Peter Schiff has come out and basically said the way to save yourself (if you're an investor) from the economic crash in the US is to GET OUT OF THE DOLLAR. We haven't even seen the worst of it yet. The same people that are preaching it's going to get better are the SAME PEOPLE that told us in 2007 it was going to turn around in the second half of 08. FIGURE IT OUT. They're trying to delay the inevitable. Instead of feeling the pain of this crash they're simply feeding as much money as they can into it, and it's only going to cause more problems in the long run. Historically, if you look at when every major country went down, the first thing they started doing was debasing their currency. WE'RE DOING IT RIGHT NOW!!!
Germany did in the 20s trying to stimulate IT'S economy. The cost of an ounce of gold went from $1450 marx to $10MILLION! They pushed money into the economy, which generated a mass inflation and completely devalued the currency.
Zimbabwe did EXACTLY what we're doing and is STILL doing it. Their currency has a 9000% (I believe that's the correct number) inflation rate PER DAY! They just printed Million Dollar bills. Are you fucking kidding me?
And all these people out there are saying "It's going to get better, it's going to turn around and the TRILLIONS of dollars being introduced to the economy aren't going to be inflationary." Meanwhile as we hand over all of our money for ANY social program to the banks to keep THEM afloat (simply Reagenomics WHICH DOESN'T WORK AND NEVER HAS) Obama plans to introduce a $1trillion economic stimulus package (or well he says $750billion but it'll be a trillion.) Let me take a second here. Does anyone realize how massive a number even a billion is? Trillion. TRILLION! Our GDP is $15trillion a year. Our national debt just hit $10.7 trillion (up $5trillion from 8 years ago HMM!) And Obama's going to stimulate the economy? WITH WHAT FUCKING MONEY!? It's gotta come from SOMEWHERE? Oh yea, they're going to PRINT IT. And devalue the currency even further.
We're heading into the abyss here, American is DONE as a world power, and we're doing what Russia did: clinging desperately to the last strongholds we have. It's only going to backfire.
So how do we fix this fuck mess we're in?
What the hell can we do when 1 million people are losing their jobs every month?
Well, Ron Paul has it right.
Our foreign policy needs to end.
The war on drugs needs to end.
The people RESPONSIBLE for this mess need to be held accountable.
We need to go back to a Gold Standard.
We need to abolish the federal reserve.
We need to start producing things here in America, which means re instituting tariffs, which would FORCE the companies (if they wanted to sell to America) to produce things HERE.
And we need to stop pouring money into the economy and let the market do what it's supposed to do. Prices for houses SHOULDN'T BE this high! The market is trying to fix itself, and we're just dumping money into it to keep it afloat, only prolonging the crash to come. We are in a depression now, the government won't admit it, but we are. They keep doing tax credits, but they've been proven not to be affective.
But what can an ordinary person do?
Well, educate yourself. Know what's really going on. I highly recommend Patriot Radio News Hour for your economic news, these guys have it right. Democracy Now! for other news (as well as economic.) And organizing.
We need to organize. We need to wake people up, and ORGANIZE. There ARE solutions for this problem, but our government is no longer acting in our best interests. These people responsible need to be held accountable and not get off by just saying "Whoops I was wrong." WAKE UP AMERICA!
Honestly, I see the only real solution that's going to happen to this is a world war. I really, really hope I'm wrong, but that's where I see it headed... Unless we stand up and do something NOW.
We're repeating the same things we did in the 1930s that created the Great Depression, and it needs to stop NOW. Not a year from now. Not two years. Not four years of Obama later. NOW.
Get out there, tell your friends, PLEASE PEOPLE. WAKE UP!!!

Holy Shit!

Okay. I know I keep posting a lot of entries, but TOO BAD. Read them =)
Here's some late breaking news that's pretty fuckin crazy, IMO. A military jet just crashed into homes here in San Diego.
Read it here

Water

There are many issues facing us as Americans, and many issues facing us as a world as a whole. But none seem to compare to the looming threat of water. Most people have no clue that there used to be a massive aquifer under Texas all the way up to South Dakota that no longer exists, and has created massive land subsidence all along where the water no longer is (that means peoples homes, roads and buildings are sinking into the ground in "random" areas.) Most people have no idea that 1.2billion people have no access to fresh, clean drinking water, or that the quality of water has been decreasing exponentially over the past hundred years. People hear "Global Warming" and think that it has only something to do with CO2 being injected into the air from our cars, but they don't seem to realize the massive droughts all across the globe.
Australia produced its lowest yield of rice since 1927 last year. Why? They don't have water. The backlash of this was the doubling of the price of rice and food riots in countries like Indonesia, the Philippines and Egypt. Human consumption of this necessity for life is at an all time high, and no one seems to want to recognize the fact that it's running out. And when we run out of water, we run out of food. And when we run out of food...
We're experiencing a drought right now, here in America. Las Vegas has outlawed running your sprinklers during the daylight (and you're only allowed to use misters if you do.) Water is a very real problem we're facing. It's projected that at the current rate of population growth, by 2070 all of the worlds fresh water will be in us. Meaning, we'll have consumed all of the worlds fresh water. So are we hearing about this? Do we hear on the news about water shortages in Australia, or the prices of water steadily increasing because it's getting harder and harder to get? Or about all the trees that are dieing here in California because they've gone as far as their roots can go, and they aren't finding water? No. The media wants to keep us complacent and happy, and we'll put off the problem until there's nothing to do about it except go to war.
Instead of now, investing in water desalination plants (we can use reverse osmosis to purify drinking water, that's how we get most of our bottle water,) we're investing our money in OIL and our banking industry. No one seems to care about something if it doesn't bring a nearly immediate profit.
Just wait.
In our lifetime we're going to see wars over the most basic of resources: Water.

News paper article

So yesterday at breakfast at this rad little cafe in San Diego, I was reading the San Diego Union Tribune, and an article in the "Our Region" section. It was a small article on one of the last pages.
This man who was in the navy stole classified documents and gave them to some group in Los Angeles, with 4 other people assisting him. He was the only one tried, served 2 years and was dishonorably discharged.
The military is now RECALLING him into service (this is what I read in the article, I'm not making anything up.) Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything googling news articles or going through the AP, it seemed like an independent article pretty much only printed in that news paper.
So he stole information, now he's being recalled into service and probably is going to be put on the front lines and killed. Good times.

Invasion of Privacy

Okay, some people probably don't believe the government is requiring companies to spy on us. But here's some evidence I have, directly from where I work. I work at a company that does life insurance exams, and as I was preparing something to be mailed, I noticed of the corner pages said "USA Patriot Act."
Here's what it says:
".."IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR AN INSURANCE POLICY OR ANNUITY CONTRACT"
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions, including insurance companies, to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account, including an application for an insurance policy or annuity contract.
What this means for you: When you apply for an insurance policy or annuity contract, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents."

That second paragraph is a load of CRAP. What is MEANS is that the government is recording people who get life insurance. You have to provide all that information to the insurance company REGARDLESS of the Patriot Act or not. It's saying that information is going to the government.
Wow.
Just... Wow.

"If the FDA approves it, I'm sure it's safe."

One of my friends just said that to me.
I didn't know if he was joking or being serious. When I found out he was serious, I stopped laughing and felt a little sick inside. Let's take a look at what the FDA deems to be safe for human consumption.
Fluoride, even though it isn't allowed to be dumped into the oceans or streams and it's a toxic byproduct of the alluminum process AND every independent, non government study that has been conducted on it has declared it to be a toxic chemical that does not have any health benefits. As well, its effectiveness on cavities is just as well if applied directly to (through toothpaste) than if consumed. Fluoride was used during WWII to keep prisoners docile, and it worked pretty fuckin well.
Busphenol-A, has been deemed safe for human consumption. Just wikipedia it, the health side-effects of this compound are extensive and vast.
"Infants fed with liquid formula are among the most exposed, and those fed formula from polycarbonate bottles can consume up to 13 micrograms of bisphenol A per kg of body weight per day (μg/kg/day; see table below).[58] The most sensitive animal studies show effects at much lower doses, while the EPA considers exposures up to 50 µg/kg/day to be safe.[34][59]"
Melamine: "Melamine is described as being "Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage. Eye, skin and respiratory irritant.” However, the toxic dose is on a par with common table salt with an LD50 of more than 3 grams per kilogram of bodyweight.[12] FDA scientists explained that when melamine and cyanuric acid are absorbed into the bloodstream, they concentrate and interact in the urine-filled renal microtubules, then crystallize and form large numbers of round, yellow crystals, which in turn block and damage the renal cells that line the tubes, causing the kidneys to malfunction.[13]"
The EPA recently upped the amount that they deem "safe" for human consumption of this product, because it has been found in almost ALL foods. The EPA refuses to do tests on products for levels BELOW what they suggest as safe (1ppm), even though the EPA levels are dangerously higher than what they should be.
The EPA has dangerous chemicals that are listed as "safe" for human consumption if below certain levels, which in turn allows these companies to put it in products as those "safe" levels, BUT you end up with compounding exposure. Essentially, your tupperware has BPA in it, then your bottle of water has it, all your plastics have it, and it leaches through your skin (proven) AND through consumption into your system and you end up with elevated levels of BPA because you're getting it from multiple sources. Individually, each source would not have "harmful" levels. Added together: you're screwed.
Anyone noticed the massive rates in infertility rising? Or the cancer rates jumping to new highs? Think it has anything to do with the chemicals we're unknowingly ingesting by an organization supposedly there to product us? Nah, couldn't be. We're all safe. The government is looking out for our best interests, even when we're not. =)

More bailouts

So the auto industries in the US are asking for 34billion in loans. I find it hilarious that our congress isn't just handing it over. I mean, they already handed over our country to the banks, they own our money supply. Why don't we just give the auto industry whatever they want?
Congress says they don't believe that the automakers can return to viable production levels to be able to pay back the loans. HAH!
Citigroup is BANKRUPT, they are 50 times leveraged, and we're giving them $300billion to help pull them out. They've already laid off 53,000 people! So why not just tack on another $34billion? We've already thrown out the constitution. We've already added $1trillion to the national debt in the last MONTH alone. We're already headed into a depression. Why not just give the auto industries what they want, so they can pay themselves out of their company JUST LIKE THE BANKS ARE DOING (and have been doing for over the past year, selling the stock in their own company that they could.)
The corruption is disgusting. No one seems to think the market can play itself out and go back to normal, SANE levels. Maybe houses shouldn't be worth $500k for a 2BR, 1BA. Maybe they SHOULD be $50k-100k. But OH NO! That would be TERRIBLE for the market. It would be TERRIBLE for people who bought a house at the top of the market, but let's look at it like this: They're still going to have to make their mortgage payment even if the market collapses, unless they default on the house and walk away (like hundreds of thousands of Americans are doing right now because they couldn't afford the home they bought and they knew they couldn't when they bought it.)
So who gives a shit if we tack on another $34billion to the national debt? We're already bankrupt anyway.
But hey, get this. GM has a PLAN. They're going to do: exactly what they SHOULD HAVE DONE YEARS AGO. But they still haven't admitted they were wrong, and that they invested in the wrong market. Fuck, I heard the CEO that went to congress to beg for money say that their plan was to "switch to the smaller markets." Excuse me? Smaller? They're so small, your company is going "bankrupt" (even though it's doing FINE in other countries and making good profits.) Don't bullshit us. Smaller markets. Yea, Hybrids and FUEL EFFICIENT VEHICLES are the "smaller" markets right now. No, sir. They are the LESS PROFITABLE markets. You can't mark up the price of the vehicle by $20k because it's got slick stylish rims and a boomin sound system when it's as small as a Toyota Yaris.
What the fuck happened to the Free Market, when companies that operated incorrectly and LIED ABOUT THEIR PROFITS went under, and the companies that did good business and cared about their employees, and cared about how they affected the worl-... oh wait. It never was there.

Unfathomable stupidity

Okay.
Before last night I thought there was some hope for America, that people still had a small sliver of a chance to wake up and stop being so completely and utterly retarded. But my faith is completely lost as to the events of this morning. This isn't a political run off my head, this is a pissed off rant at some dumb bitch who reported my bike to the police as stolen.
So I went to a friends house to spend the night, and he told me to put my bike at this one spot, that it would be fine unlocked. All the spots to lock it had huge plants in the way, and I didn't want to ruin them by pushing my bike against them anyways. This morning I awoke to find my bike MISSING. My friend knocked on peoples doors, and found out that the lady who lived in one of the units called the police and reported the bike as stolen property.
Now, how fucking STUPID can people get? There is NO excuse for what she did. Absolutely none. The bike had been there LESS THAN 10 HOURS!!! No one had simply left it on her front door, no one had abandoned the bike, I simply put it there beceause there wasn't anywhere that a fucking plant wasn't growing to set it against. And she calls the police!? You wasted my tax payer money over a fucking bike!? I can't even wrap my head around the vast, gross stupidity of this situation.
Yes, I should have locked my bike up regardless of what my friend said and not trusted that I was in a really nice neighborhood, in a condo complex with locked gates and no way of jumping them. I should have locked it regardless of whether or not I felt it would be safe. I understand this. But I didn't, and I don't see the need for someone reporting it as LOST when it clearly wasn't.
I mean, don't you think you'd ask your neighbors whose bike it might be BEFORE you call the police!? WHAT THE FUCK!?
And get this, I find where my bike is, and the police are almost refusing to release it to me. I gave the lady a complete visual description of the bike, told her the batteries that the light on the top of the bike takes AND the type of light. And where the scratches from some drunk bitch sitting on my bike while it was locked came from. I guarantee you I am the only person calling in with THAT MUCH OF A DESCRIPTION of ANY bike. And I also told her that the seat has two reflectors, one that was the original that came w/ the bike, and the other was a light that I put on with a little yellow button.
I can't get any more visually descriptive of it than I did. But because I don't have the receipt of the serial number (WHO THE FUCK DOES AFTER OWNING A BIKE FOR 3 MONTHS!?) they might not release it to me.
They're going to run the serial and make sure it hasn't been reported as stolen, and then maybe they'll release it to me.
I just can't believe this situation. All the taxpayer dollars that are going into this because some stupid bitch called the police over a bike that was clearly not stolen or lost, and belonged to someone in the unit. WHAT THE FJDKLSFJdklsajfkl;sdajfklsdajfklsdajfklsdfklsdajikljklfsdhtehsfksdjjjol YOU DUMB WHORE!!!!

Edit:
So that woman is still a dumb whore. I kinda feel bad because my friend feels bad about it all. BUT! I got my bike after hours of back & forth calls w/ the police station.

Chicago privatizes parking meters

Read the article here
Are you serious?
Are you fucking serious?
How exactly is the public going to benefit from having to pay more for meters?
I'll add more to this later.

Wal-Mart Holiday Blues

An employee of Wal-Mart in Long Island, NY was crushed to death by a stampede of thousands of people trying to get to discounted items on Black Friday, November 28th 2008. Everyone around me I hear says "Blame Wal-Mart!" Now, while I hold a portion of the blame for Wal-Marts mismanagement of people (they should have had MORE security (they called the police)) but the true blame falls onto the crowd who crushed the man.
The crowd was asked, and then told, to back up 4 feet away from the door (I've read and listened to testimonies from those who were actually there.) THOUSANDS of people crowded outside the door, and did not listen to the direction of the Wal-Mart employees. Wal-Mart called the police, asking for assistance because they knew they could not control the crowd. The police sent ONE officer, who assessed the situation and LEFT.
It's all good and well to say after the fact that Wal-Mart should have hired security, but when they called the police for help the police did nothing. And then before the store even opened, people bum rushed the door and BROKE IN. And you're telling me that Wal-Mart is to blame for not being able to control thousands of people? They definitely have some looking in to do, and they are definitely responsible for the care of their customers, but this isn't entirely their fault. Hundreds broke into the store and trampled over someone, all trying to get a deal on an item.
They should have been handed numbers, they should have been talked to before the store was open at least. BUT they weren't, and when they WERE told to please step back from the door they instead broke it down and did not listen. Do you think this crowd would have cared all that much about tickets? They broke down a door, I can see a riot having happened outside BECAUSE someone was given a ticket and Wal-Mart may have mistakenly given it to the wrong person first. Then, is Wal-Mart to blame for that happening? People talk about how Best Buy only let 25 people in at a time. Well, this crowd wasn't listening to the Wal-Mart employees asking them to please just step back so they could open the doors and LET them in!
This crowd of people was obviously pre-disposed to this sort of behaviour, and I think we need to turn and take a look at society and what we as a whole have become. Do you think, for any reason, that it is okay to rush a door of a store and break it open, in attempt to purchase an item, when the store employees are begging you to back off and calm down? We've created this culture of consumerism that is devouring us whole. We're bombarded with advertisements for gadgets and toys everywhere. Sale this, half off that. Everywhere. And YAY! You saved $100 on a TV.
How about we look into how that TV was sold for so cheap? Oh, it was made in another country, off the backs of someone else. American companies operating overseas. Or American companies buying products made by foreign ones because it's cheaper. And then it turns around and gets sold to the people, who really don't give a fuck where it came from or if someone died in an avoidable mining accident in Africa digging for material to make that TV. All people see is dollar signs and what they personally are saving.
The mentality we live in, BUY BUY BUY, is responsible for this disgusting disregard for human life. It goes from people not caring where and how a product is made, to people not caring about breaking the law and damaging a companies property to save a buck. To lay blame solely on Wal-Mart for this mistake is, in my humble opinion, retarded. Wal-Mart made the mistake of not better managing people, and the people made the mistake of DISREGARDING THE LAW and trampling someone to save money. Not one person took a second to step back and say "Hey maybe what we're doing is wrong" until someone was dieing on the floor.

Edit:
Oh, and after the person was being taken away to the hospital, customers were refusing to leave because they still wanted that god damned TV or Laptop or whatever the fuck they were buying. I'm so sick of people avoiding looking at themselves for their mistakes, and turning around and trying to place the blame for their fuck ups in life on anyone else they can.

Longing for your touch

HAHAH. So I'm retarded and stoned today and my friend and I start looking online for me to find an apartment. He gets distracted and starts reading the Missed Connections on Craigslist for amusement, I guess. Unless he posted one, we may never know. But, there were some pretty funny ones. And I got it in my head to write one. If you can't figure out who I'm writing about too bad. I think it's funny. =) I'll post any responses I get.
And here it is:

"..While walking down beautiful University avenue, by 30th, I saw you. Your legs, from what I could see through your tattered jeans were so stunning, only small amounts of crude oil and dirt covered your sensual skin. You wore a green frizzled hat and lay asleep on the street, Albertson's shopping cart to your side, laden with your priceless belongings. My heart skipped a beat and I nearly dropped my Yog-Art onto the street. I paused for a long moment, staring longingly your way, wishing my will that you would awaken and sweep me into your arms. Steal me away from this cruel world. But my friends kept walking, and you did not wake. Please, if you ever read this, know that I am looking and longing passionately for your touch."
http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/mis/939415747.html

Response 1:
"..Longing for you, please find me - m4m - 21 (San Diego)
Dude, he is obviously HOMELESS and if he is homeless I seriously doubt he waould hace access to a computer let alone the damn internet
You need to take your ass back to where you saw him and approach, because just as you have a house most homeless stay in the same address also.
Good luck.."

Response 2:
"..
Hey Hot Stuff,

Sorry that you ran off so quickly. I was only pretending to be asleep. I am actually an undercover narcotics detective, looking for teenagers and young adults who are buying and selling drugs. The junk in the Albertsons cart was there to cover up the recording equipment that is used to prosecute criminals. I saw you staring at me, but didn't want to blow my cover, but once I saw the rod in your pants getting stiff, I thought that I would pee myself just to give you a signal back. You left too soon, and once I started pissing, I couldn't stop. I was going to get out of my undercover clothes, but the warm piss really started to turn me on, so I played back the recording of you watching me, with the woody in your pants, and I just had to rub one out. When I got home, I did it again. The next time that I am working that corner, I want you to pull it out and piss all over me. That will make me come 5 times. Thanks for thinking of me. Sometimes my work is very boring.

Hugs,
Jake
.."

Response 3:
"..Your ad, while clever and humorous, seems a bit mean spirited."

Response 4:
"..homeless dont have computer. RETARD......"

Response 5:
"..nice. very eloquent. "

Response 6:
"..sounds like you were attracted to a homeless person? Nothing wrong with attracting a homeless person, but knowing that he might not have a computer to use, but you just never know..

Goodluck buddy,

P.."

Sick

I think I'm getting sick. Or well, I know I'm getting sick. I woke up this morning and almost vomited, then I biked to work, thought the exercise might perk me up a bit. I was wrong: I feel even worse.
And then I listen to my daily news broadcast from DemocracyNow! and hear even MORE bad news. Not only am I physically sick, I'm financially sick off my ass at the same time. All of us taxpayers are. Obama's talking about "cutting bad spending," but mentions nothing about our gross overspending on foreign policy, and our gross overspending on some domestic policies (Homeland Security for instance.) On top of that, Paulson has come out with ANOTHER $800 BILLION plan to stimulate the economy. The government will now become a bank, because NO BANKS ARE LENDING! We forked over several TRILLION dollars to get them up and running, and guess what? IT DIDN'T WORK! What a fucking surprise. Anyone else think we're being scammed? It's so obvious it hurts.
Meanwhile, the number of Americans on food stamps is on the rise, hitting an all time record high of 30million.
WHERE IS THIS FUCKING MONEY COMING FROM!?
Seriously!
Where the fuck are we getting the $800billion? Where did we get the $750billion we already spent? It's more like $5trillion, but they won't admit it publicly. Where are we getting this money that we DON'T HAVE!?
It's like in California, we're in a $10billion deficit right now and we just approved a $9.95billion railway project, and THAT'S JUST THE START OF THE BILL! You can't rack up debt and expect to not have to pay it off. We're in a $10.7trillion deficit right now in our national debt. And we keep approving to tack on another trillion here, another trillion there.
Where is this money going to come from!?
OH YEA!
Us. That's right. We the taxpayers are going to pay for it. We're going to be TAXED TO MAKE UP FOR THIS DEBT! Someone has to pay for it. And it's us.
We are going to be paying for these banks that made risky loans. We are going to be paying for these auto companies that didn't do it right. We are going to be paying for people THAT CAN'T AFFORD TO OWN A HOME, to own a home.
Here's the simple truth: Not everyone can afford the American dream.
FORCING it on people is only going to hurt us in the long run. You should have worked for 10 years of your life to save up the money to buy a house, otherwise what stake do you have in the home? What investment of your life do you have in a house if you had no money down and an interest only loan? It's so retarded.
ANYWAYS. So they're proposing another $800 billion to go into government loans to people. So the money given to the banks was for not. They OBVIOUSLY are doing very well. I mean, Citigroup is only 50 times leveraged. Wants that mean? For every dollar in real money they have, they have $50 in debt. How can you operate a company like that? Oh wait, you turn to the government for assistance in financing your debt to make your books look better. Then, even though a stipulation of TAARP was to LEND THE MONEY BACK OUT AGAIN, you don't do it. So you can delay filing for bankruptcy for another couple of months, a year at best. The average bank is 30 times leveraged, and Citigroup is 50.
So we've handed out all this money to the banks, they're illegally not USING it, and now the government is turning into a bank. I say this all the time, but how much more obvious can it get? We the tax payers are going to be footed the bill, and it's the working class and middle class Americans that are going to pay the moeny. Taxes aren't going to be raised for the rich. Obama's even said the tax cuts for the rich that Bush pushed through he isn't going to remove, he's just going to let the policy expire in 2011. So 2-3 more years of BULLSHIT! Welcome, once again, to Corporate America.

Sarah Palin pardons a turkey

And then you watch behind her as they KILL a turkey. What a perfect backdrop to talk about your failing political career.

My Reply

This is a reply to a topic about Masons & for some reason Mayan calendars that I did. A lot of people were essentially saying "oh it's not true, there are no FEMA camps" etc etc.
here it goes:
I'm not so up on the end of the world scenarios. I can't get too worried about our planet getting sucked into some black hole, it's not something we can currently avoid anyways.
What I do personally worry about is where we, as a nation, will end up within the next couple years. Many of our civil liberties are currently out the window, so long as the government deems you to be a terrorist. Now, who are the people that consider to be terrorists? Is it the people in Iraq that are trying to get us out of our their country since we don't belong there? Or is it the citizens here?
If you answered the first one, you'd be wrong. 8 people were arrested in St Paul, MN, for organizing an "anarchist," peaceful protest to welcome the Republican National Conventioners to St Paul. The 8 people were arrested BEFORE the protests took place, one-two days before depending on who you're looking at. And what were they arrested for, I hear you ask? They were arrested for "Conspiracy to Incite a Riot in the Promotion of Terrorism" under Minnesota's version of The Patriot Act. Add to that the nearly 900 people that were arrested the day of the protest, as the police had unsuccessfully disbanded it by taking out its leaders. You don't have to believe me on this one, just watch the video of police surrounding people sitting in a park: http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/99433/incredible_documentary_footage_of_mass_arrest_in_st._paul/?id=123
Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now!, as well as two of her producers (Nicole Salazar and someone else,) were also arrested the day of the protest, though the charges of rioting where dropped against the some 100 odd reporters arrested that day. Why would our own police force, supposed to protect the public, violently arrest individuals for acting on their first Amendment rights of freedom of assembly (as evidenced by the people being arrested in the park,) freedom of the press (as evidenced by reporters being arrested,) and freedom of speech (as evidenced by the original organizers being arrested and charged as terrorists against the United States)?
Because they no longer serve the people. They serve a higher order: The New World Order.
I'm not entirely educated on the Masons either. I do know there are specific groups of individuals that were supposedly esteemed within the world, and certain celebrities and people are made "honorary members," but are never really let in on the meetings of the true members. It creates an air of sophistication for them, that they have members of the Masons that are actors or politicians. And the true members can slowly push their agenda.
We have a fraudulent banking system in America, geared only to promote debt, and therefore enslave people by that debt. We have FEMA camps set up all over the country. I've SEEN THEM BEING BUILT, and they're out there telling the people in the towns they're building them near EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE DOING. It's supposed to hold terrorists. There's a camp in Alaska that is capable of holding 2million people.
Here's some evidence of FEMA camps: FEMA Camp with Train access
Compound on to that the many trains that currently are being equipped with shackles for "transportation," run and operated by FEMA.
This tells me that our government is preparing for something to happen. Something they see being a very real possibility. There are also platoons of men coming back from Iraq and being used, or were during the 08 election, for crowd control essentially. They took people fresh out of war, just having spent months being SHOT AT, and then handed them rubber bullet guns. They're testing new weapons on the people of Iraq (microwave technology, etc.) Their idea of something that is "non-lethal" in Iraq is that it only kills 30% of the people it hits. Microwave crowd control technology
Crowd control technology in Iraq, and FEMA camps in the US. Hm! Connection?
What would the government be preparing for? Could it have anything to do with the current economic collapse and the idea of a World Bank to service the needs of all nations, a One World Currency? Owned and operated by the people that created the Federal Reserve (the Morgans, Rothchilds, Freedmans, Chases, etc) Whoever controls the money supply, controls the people. And here it is, right here, Bernanke lying to our faces. that the World Currency that is making MAINSTREAM NEWS being talked about, isn't being talked about? He LIED straight to Ron Paul and everyone there, and everyone watching. Ron Paul Questions Bernanke
I think if people really knew what was going on, the current economic collapse being an orchestrated failure all across the world, to create a world currency for world control, they'd be a little more inclined to take a much more active role in politics in their life, if they remembered how important it was to have it there in the first place.
You can try to argue all you want, but here's the simple truth: These camps exist. We have a president who himself, along with his chief of staff (Rahm Emanuel,) would like for there to be a youth brigade as well funded and supported as the military. Essentially tattle tail police. And everyone under the age of 25 is supposed to go to for a 3 month civil service training program designed to teach you what being an American is all about. I'm not making it up, it was on there website (change.gov or whatever) before they took it down. I've also written about it before.
Rahm Emanuel
We have a Federal Reserve that's lying to us about where they're spending the money from the bailout, and won't tell us how much or to who how much has been given.
Even if there isn't a group of people bent on world control, it becomes more and more apparent by the day that we the American people are going to suffer ramifications of the many policies pushed by this and previous administrations, and also backed by the current administration.
Believe me or not, but no change that will BENEFIT us is coming. Be content with your $2/gallon gasoline, until your dollar no longer buys anything. We're headed down a crap shoot right now, and we've yet to hit the biggest pile at the end. And it's people ignoring what's going on around them and pretending it doesn't exist because it's "too absurd" to exist that are going to be the first ones to break out into terror and raid the food shelves at stores when there's no more food. Instead of trying to figure out a solution for the crisis we're in.
America is a country of consumers, and it can no longer be perpetuated.

Gays fight back =)

I guess I should explain this before you watch it:
A group of religious extremists met to pray in the Castro district regularly, to pray for the gays to not be gay, essentially. This particular group spent 40 days praying in San Diego for the passage of Prop 8. So when they went to pray this time, in San Fran, they were met with a bunch of very angry homos. No one was hurt or attacked, though they said they were splashed with hot coffee (oh well if it's true.) The cops showed up and escorted them home, and also created a blockade to keep the gays from following them home.

Awesome, in my opinion.
I'm glad to see gay people finally saying they aren't going to take it laying down, no lube, anymore. =) In all seriousness, fuck yea though. They make a very good point, if you don't like gay people don't go into the Castro district of San Fran to pray against them. Simple as that. You fucked up Mormons, you fucked up Catholics that supported Prop 8. You've awoken sleeping queens.

Moving

So my roommate asked me to move out by Dec 1st, which later turned into "You -are- moving out Dec 1st." So my stress level is currently out the roof, but thanks to marijuana I'm calm. =) Enough. Anyways, his reason: I'm paying too much, I smoke pot and he doesn't approve and he has a friend that wants to move in. He also threw in that I'm messy (yea my rooms a little messy, but nothing off the wall. The general living area is kept immaculate) and finally just outright admitted he was unhappy with me living there. I asked him on various occasions if he had any issues with anything I did, and he said every time "No you're great." Obviously he lied to my face, and was just looking for the perfect opportunity say something about it.
I had an odd feeling he'd end up being like this though, it took me about two months after living there to feel like he just didn't want me there. His reasonings were disputable and fixable had he told me outright what was bothering him, and given me a chance to address it rather than it be a problem for him. Now I've got to figure out how to come up with an extra anywhere from 250-1000 depending on where I move to. So I'm a little stressed out on how to do that in 2 weeks.
Porn? Anyone wanna pay to see me naked?
I've looked at a couple places, and my current roommate has thrown some retarded suggestions my way (sorry, I'm a little upset about him not bothering to talk to me about what was bugging him and instead just outright deciding I have to move because of it.) Got a place to look at tonight.
But the entire reason I sat down and started writing this was because of a really funny reply I got from this one guy who said he had a room still available. Or at least where my mind went with it, it was funny. In a twisted way.
So I sent him an e-mail asking about the availability of the room, and he said he still had it and asked when I was planning to move. Said his roommate just "never came home." That's kind of funny on various fronts. One: The guy could be dead, or worse killed by the roommate. That's where my mind went with it first and I laughed. Not sure if at myself or if that had happened and may happen to me. Does that make sense? Two: he may just not want to come home for a while. Three: Might be in the hospital. Four: Something else.
And he offers me this dudes room, without knowing for certain where he's at? Kinda shady if ya ask me. Or I'm reading too much into it. I'll probably still go to check it out. I promise to write something else better if I find a place and stop pulling my hair out =)
